Becoming Spiritually Aware Thought the Sixth Senses Part 1 or 10 |
Seeing sensing perceiving spirit loved ones in spirit form. When spirit are wanting to let us know they are close by or present they draw close in order to link with us, this is done by a blending of their own and our energies within our aura making spiritual communications possible with those who are sensitive to spirit. Spirits are beings of energy and of spiritual life forces, as are we. Thus during the blending spirit may give us sensations of energies and tingling that may be felt particularly around the head neck and shoulders, on occasions this tingling can be all over the body and it can become acute and quite uncomfortable.
The reason this happens is because spirit do have to open the spiritual mind and chakra's and the energies they are using helps to do this and open other perceptions such as the third or psychic eye and sixth senses, this takes a great deal of power and you may experience feelings of pressure and energy on and around your brain, when they are close to you, again if this becomes too uncomfortable, send out a thought to your spirit guide asking them to back off a little. After a few minutes of this heavy pressure on the brain it can begin to bring on a slight headache. Spirit energy's can give feelings like cobwebs on the face. Spirit may try differing techniques of communication; one is overshadowing and giving impressions of themselves. As mentioned if you have a pain this can be impressions given by spirit to encourage you to ask for healing to be sent out to others in need, often we do not know who it is for, but once you ask, ask your spirit guide or pray to Father God, asking them to take it away. When a spirit takes over the mind it is called one of two things the first is trance controlled mediumship which is good the other is spiritual possession by a negative spirit which is bad, the first you normally have a trusted spirit controller the second is when a spirit forcible take control of the mind which is quite hard to prevent if your mind is in a weakened state. Spirit can give many bodily sensations such as overshadowing, where you can feel like someone else if make you stand up taller or feel stronger or even like you have a beard etc.
What we all want of course is to be able to see and hear spirit on our first attempt at spiritual communication and we would all like a loved one in spirit to be there and of course they are there, but unfortunately it does not usually happen quite so quickly, as we might like it to, try not to be disappointed if it seems you are not getting anywhere at first, these things take time patience and trust, so keeping an open mind is a virtue to have. Many here do at times sense and have feelings that a loved one in spirit is present and is still close to them here, these feelings are often correct. There are times when we seem to be more sensitive to loved ones in spirit and our spirit guides. These times are varied but are quite often as we go to sleep and wake up or during our dreams. It seems this is the state of mind that spirit can work best with. It is not so dissimilar to a daydream like state, where the mind relaxes and starts to drift.
Many clairvoyants do go into an altered state of mind when they tune in to spirit. Spirit come to us when we are doing things where the sub-conscious mind takes over such as when we are doing chores like the washing up etc, as we enter a daydream like state and spirit move close to us giving us feelings so we know they are there, like stroking our hair or the hair on the back of our neck may stand on end or we might get goose bumps or feelings of hot or cold. Touching the shoulder and often feelings of tingling. Some spirit loved ones who smoked are able to make us smell their smoke or we may smell perfume and such like and some even hear songs that a loved one used to sing or hear them walking up the stairs or even laying on the bed next to them and on occasion doorbells or phones will ring for no apparent reason and spirit seem to be able to do this and can have effects on lights TV’s and radios. The other thing they can do is hide things or move pictures.
To begin with the thoughts that may be received from spirit can feel like a thought that drifts into your mind or springs to mind, we can dismiss these thoughts so easily by believing they are of our own minds making, it is our mind that spirit is using to give and pass their messages to us through the sub-conscious mind. Those who are open and trusting with a creative and imaginative mind and of a welcoming nature toward spirit can often be or become natural psychics and clairvoyants, because they are already partly using the gifts that are adaptable toward spiritual awareness. Some do find the ability to attune to spirit more readily than others and there are those who do struggle with spiritual communications because of their mind set.
Those that are attuned to spirit may well at times see spirit out of the corner of one eye in peripheral vision, often seen as dark shadows, later this may develop and become impressions of being able to sense and see spirit around and near you. Also some see spirit orbs flying around the home. Again as development continues it may be possible for some to hear spirit voices audibly, both in the mind and sometimes through what seems to be the ears or coming out of the air.
